link – About the 'Percorsi' CD:
link The CD booklet says the two 'Pezzi sacri' [sacred pieces] were "composed and recorded for I PROMESSI SPOSI (1989), but not released".
The tracks on the 'Percorsi' album, however, do not seem to be the original recordings.
For I PROMESSI SPOSI the 'Orchestra della RAI di Roma' was used, whereas the two 'Pezzi sacri' were played by the 'Orchestra dell'AMIT (Academia Musicale Italiana)'. No recording date mentioned on back card.
jpgThe booklet confusingly mentions that the pieces were first performed in 1990 in Budapest, with yet another (a third) orchestra.
