The film is mis-titled, "Giotto and the Pre-Renascence." Music is by Ennio Morricone, conducted by Bruno Nicolai.

I've listened the bootleg & with absolute certainty can to tell you...

I think most (or all) of the tracks are reused (like in case with Money, Ilona & Kerti).. & that's why OST never has been released...

For the moment i found 2 known themes, it's main theme of the UCCELLACCI E UCCELLINNI & also VOCI NEL DESERTO (from IL GRANDE SILENZIO) already, yes...

I've identified those tracks but i didn't identify others yet..

I think just the western reused music, need to hear again & again... Several times, compare, etc...

But it's obviously : GIOTTO = REUSED TRACKS!

Eda...

Thanks for sharing this Eldar (and John).

Another bootleg has circulated years ago, with music from the session tapes. Your tracks 1, 7, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 20 are from that old bootleg. For the rest, tracks 4 and 6 are indeed Voci nel deserto from Il grande silenzio. The track from Uccellacci e uccellini you mention is Il corvo professore (aka Il gioco del cucù), here as track 5, whereas tracks 2, 12 and 18 seem to be a different version of it, for harpsichord.

Tracks 10 and 19 are Torre di Babele, from The Bible (1966). For the rest, I'm not sure. Maybe track 3 is the organ-only part of Per organi e ottoni from Amanti d'oltre tomba. And tracks 16 and 17 seem to stem from the documentary Una nuova fonte di energia. Regarding tracks 8 and 9, I have no idea.

So, now you can add to the database some reused tracks...
