‣17/05/2020 Bob Hendrikx Notes on Ferruccio Tagliavini: LA SPAGNOLA (1963)
According to 2CD "I grandi successi originali: Ferruccio Tagliavini" (2004), "La Spagnola" (2:47) was orchestrated by Ennio Morricone. This is most likely a mistake.

Morricone did indeed orchestrate all 12 songs on the "Le canzoni di ieri" album (1961), but "La Spagnola" (2:47) was released on the follow-up LP, "Le canzoni di papà" (1963). All tracks on the latter album were orchestrated by Carlo Savina.

This same Carlo Savina version of "La Spagnola" was also released on the "La grande canzone" (1976) album.
No sign of a Morricone treatment of the song.
