‣30/11/2019 Bob Hendrikx Notes on Miranda Martino: DIVINAMENTE (1960) (Part 1)
In 2001 the "Divinamente" track was introduced to us as a Morricone credit.
The song was released on 2CD "Ennio Morricone, Ultimate Italian Pops Collection" (CD 1, track 24).
The 2CD provides no information about the authors ("Unknown") or the original release of the track, yet the orchestration is ascribed to Ennio Morricone.

Since 2001, I have been trying to locate the original release of this alleged Morricone-orchestrated song.
Based on the info we have now, the "Divinamente" version featured on the 2CD was first released in 1960, the authors being Castaldo/Torti/Chiocchio.
The 1960 releases show that the track was orchestrated by Pat Bodia, not by Ennio Morricone.

3:29 – Divinamente [divinely]

Authors: Castaldo/Torti/Chiocchio
Composer: Umberto Chiocchio
Lyricist: Franco Torti
Lyricist: Guido Castaldo
Orchestrator, Conductor: Pat Bodio (real name: José Espeita García-Arista) (1912-2002)
Vocals: Miranda Martino (1933-)
"Divinamente – testo di Castaldo & Torti, musica di U. Chiocchio" link
Guido Castaldo and Franco Torti also wrote the lyrics to Morricone's "Questi vent'anni miei" (1964). link

Released on vinyl single:
Scandalo al sole / Divinamente – RCA Italiana 45N-1094 – Italy – 1960

Back: "Divinamente – con Pat Bodio e il suo complesso" jpg
"Numero di catalogo 45N-1094 – Anno 1960" link
The A-side song (Scandalo al sole) was orchestrated by Franco Pisano.

‣30/11/2019 Bob Hendrikx Notes on Miranda Martino: DIVINAMENTE (1960) (Part 2)
Released on vinyl EP:
Scandale au soleil (A1) / Frénésie (A2) / Divinamente (B1) / Tango italiano (B2) – RCA 75.626 – France – 1960
Front: jpg
Back: Four listed songs – Orchestras: "Pat Bodio, Franco Pisano" jpg
B-side label: "Divinamente – Torti/Castaldo/Chiocchio – Orchestre: Pat Bodio" jpg
Apparently, track B2 (Tango italiano) is not a Morricone credit either. – See: link

Released on 2CD:
Ennio Morricone, Ultimate Italian Pops Collection – BMG BVCM-37208-9 – Japan – 2001 (CD 1, track 24) link
Tracklist of CD 1 (CD booklet, page 2): "Ennio Morricone – Miranda Martino – Authors unknown" jpg
