"In 1960 Alberto Pavoncello (belonging to one of the oldest families of the Roman Jewish community) performed a number of traditional liturgical songs in the Tempio Maggiore di Roma.
One of the spectators, Ennio Morricone (aged 32), was so enthusiastic about Pavoncello's performance that a friendship developed between the two artists, which materialized two months later in the recording of this promo EP."
