In October 1972 a 10-LP project was released under the heading of "Dimensioni sonore", in which Ennio Morricone and Bruno Nicolai each share five albums.
A few weeks later an 11th and 12th album were issued, containing the same type of music and track titles.
The 11th LP (Controfase) is attributed to Ennio Morricone, the 12th LP (Espressioni) to Bruno Nicolai.

Volumes 1 to 10 (103 tracks) – Title: Dimensioni sonore (RCA SP 10036 to 10045) – About this 10-LP: link
Volume 11 (8 tracks) – Title: Controfase (Gemelli GG.ST 10.019)
Volume 12 (9 tracks) – Title: Espressioni (Gemelli GG.ST 10.020) – About this LP: link
LPs 1,3,5,7,9,11 are credited to Ennio Morricone. – LPs 2,4,6,8,10,12 are credited to Bruno Nicolai.

The eight pieces featured on the "Controfase" LP, were produced from 1970 to 1972. (EMM, page 261)
The album has not yet made it to CD. Released on vinyl in 1972, re-released on vinyl in 2015.
